April 10-11

We pray that the grace of Easter may continue to fill our lives and that, like Thomas in today’s Gospel, we may accept the risen Christ as our Lord and God. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for those whose faith in Christ is challenged by the cynicism of this world and whose trust in the Church is undermined by the scandals among the clergy. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for those friends and loved ones whose bodies, minds and hearts are afflicted with constant pain that, like the believers in today’s first reading, they may find relief and strength in Christ’s love. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for victims of the plane crash this weekend that killed the President of Poland and many of its leaders, and for their families and the people of Poland. We pray to the Lord.
