We pray that the love we show to our family, to those around us, to God, and to those in need may be the love of which Paul speaks in today’s reading. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the people of Haiti, who continue to suffer and to mourn, that the world may continue to aid them generously. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the teachers in our Catholic schools, that they may be blessed with the wisdom, patience and love needed to open the minds and inspire the hearts of our children. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for all the athletes who will come to Canada for the Winter Olympics, that their determination and integrity may inspire our youth and bring credit to their countries. We pray to the Lord.
