Support Ministries

Caring Support Group

This group of parishioners meet to support each other and socialize. They pray for the members of the parish who have died and send cards to those families who have experienced the death of a loved one. They also assist with the Memorial Mass and host the hospitality following that liturgy.

Development and Peace

The Canadian Catholic organization for Development and Peace educates Canadians about the causes of impoverishment of peoples and mobilizes actions for change. Our representative works to enhance the profile of the organization in our parish and supports the annual Share Lent campaign.

Parish Clean Up

Twice a year, in the spring and fall a parish clean up is organized by a group of volunteers who come to do yard work and clean the interior of the church. A lunch is served and it is an opportunity for parishioners to maintain our spiritual home and socialize.

Pastoral Care of the Sick

A parishioner brings communion to the sick at the Heart Institute every week. A number of other parishioners bring communion and visit the sick as the need arises.
