We pray for Canada, as our country begins another year, that we may be thankful for the blessings we have received and that we may continue to grow in peace, in respect for our neighbours, and in solidarity with those in need. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the grace to recognize the opportunities in our lives to proclaim the Kingdom of God to those around us, as Christ calls us to do in today’s Gospel. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for our altar servers and for the young people in our youth group and children’s liturgy, that they may enjoy a happy and safe summer with their families and friends. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the hundreds of people who have died or are injured in the oil explosion in Congo this weekend, and for their families. We pray to the Lord.
