We pray that, like the blind man in today’s Gospel, our eyes may be opened to the presence of Christ in our lives, with us in our joys and pleasures as well as in our pains and tribulations, and that we may share our good fortune with others. We pray to the Lord.

We pray that during this Lenten season we may make the time to step back from the noise around us, set aside our desires and distractions for a moment, and listen to God’s voice calling us to trust in Him and to live our lives more worthily. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the people of Chile: the hundreds who have died, those who mourn them, and those who have been left without homes or livelihoods by the recent earthquakes. We pray to the Lord.

We pray for the children of this parish, that they may grow here with an abiding love of God and their fellows, fidelity to Christ’s teachings, and commitment to His Church. We pray to the Lord.
